An Ecumenical Christian Non-Profit Organization
FISH has been providing food and a helping hand to low income, homeless and stranded travelers in the West Valley since 1972 when it was founded by Louise Curinga, a member of the Congregational Church of Chatsworth. The food pantry has been located in the kitchen of the church at 20440 Lassen Street since it was established and has been a member of the San Fernando Valley Interfaith Council Food Pantry Coalition since the coalition was organized. The food pantry is staffed by dedicated volunteers from all faiths and supported by a coalition of churches and congregations.
FISH receives donations from the annual postal workers food drive.
